Monad – Why You Won’t Get the Airdrop

Monad – Why You Won’t Get the Airdrop

Monad is the most anticipated L1 blockchain, raising $244 million 💰— and we’re actively participating in its testnet. 🚀

Our private Telegram channel – be the first to discover new airdrops! 🚀

🔍 Current Key Metrics

Let’s first take a look at Monad’s key network statistics as of now:

  • Total unique wallets in the network: 304 million
  • Daily average growth: +10 million
  • 80% of users have fewer than 100 transactions
  • 85% of users have fewer than 50 contracts
  • 75% of users hold fewer than 5 MON
  • 85% of users have ≤11 active days

😬 Don’t Celebrate Too Early

Even if your stats are better than these — it only means you’re ahead of 90% of others. That’s not enough anymore!

Less than 0.1% will get the drop.

Unlike previous projects, being in the top 20% won’t cut it. You need to know exactly which stats to aim for to stand a real chance.

📊 The Most Accurate Stats – Flipside

The most accurate wallet stats I’ve found are on Flipside. Unlike other services, it shows your actual rank for each metric — not some imaginary score. This allows you to fine-tune your wallet for the drop.

To get started:

  • Go to the site and register
  • Paste your wallet address and click “Run Params”
  • Wait until the data fully loads

⚠️ What You Need to Understand

  • Flipside stats show parameters required for top 1% wallets.
  • That’s not our goal — we want to know where we stand relative to others.
  • Aim to keep your wallet in the top 500K, ideally top 200K, to stay in the running.
  • Most projects distribute drops to around this number of wallets.
  • Stats may update once per day — keep that in mind.

📈 My Wallet Stats Breakdown (Examples)

🔢 Tx Count

  • Top 1% = ≥36 transactions
  • I’ve made 218 transactions → only places me in top 800K 😅
  • A week ago that was enough, but not anymore.
  • This metric needs improvement.

💸 Fee Paid

  • Top 1% spent ≈ 0.2 MON in gas
  • I’ve burned around 206 MONtop 4K
  • Likely one of the most important metrics for the airdrop size.
  • Recommendation: Focus on this — get your wallet into top 200K.
  • Tip: Increase gas by 100x before confirming a transaction to burn more.

🛠️ Deployed Contracts

  • Top 1% deployed ≈ 72 contracts
  • I’ve deployed 180+top 7K
  • I use Owlto and Mintair with one-click deploys.
  • I increase gas here too — kill two birds with one stone 🐦🔥

🤝 Interacted Contracts

  • Top 1% interacted with 114+ unique contracts
  • That’s enough to land in top 100K
  • I’ve interacted with 138 → around 59K place
  • Minting random NFTs helps rack this up fast.
  • We have a special chat where you can find thousands of unique contracts.

🧼 Anti-Sybil Filters Incoming?

I’m sure the project will filter out Sybil wallets that have no assets on other networks. Be prepared!

✅ General Recommendations

  • Burn at least 5 MON in gas fees.
  • Have at least 5 unique active days in Monad.
  • On Ethereum Mainnet, hold at least 0.01 ETH (better: 0.05 ETH).
  • Have 10+ transactions on Ethereum Mainnet.
  • Be active on Ethereum for at least 5 unique days.
  • To generate activity, simply send ETH to yourself back and forth.

🙋 Final Thoughts

These are my personal recommendations that I follow myself. No one knows for sure how the project will filter wallets, so our task is to prepare for as many scenarios as possible.

If you can’t manage 10 wallets — just do one well. That way, you’ll still have a shot at getting something! 🎯
